2020

Victorino 2020 dazzles with a captivating cherry-red hue of medium-high intensity and edges reminiscent of cardinal tones. On the nose, it unveils a moderate yet intricate blend of aromas beginning with the sweetness of stewed fruits, such as plums and blackberries, followed by a hint of liquorice and pepper, complemented by intriguing mineral notes that add depth. On the palate, this wine reveals its prowess with a rich and concentrated fruity load that is balanced by a rounded elegance. The creamy texture and the polished, lingering finish make this 2020 vintage an ideal choice for those seeking a robust yet sophisticated wine.

2019

Victorino 2019 is a red wine that on the nose presents concentrated and intricate aromas, where one can discern scents of ripe fruit and spices, complemented by brandy-like fortified nuances and a hint of minerality. Its palate is robust and well-structured. A creamy and articulate red with an elegant finish of refined tannins.

2017

The climate year in Toro was the same as its close neighbors in Ribera de Duero: hot and dry. With one big exception: they didn’t suffer the tragic frost of April 28. The spring began with high temperatures resulting in early budding, and later a sudden drop in temperatures caused the slowdown of the growth cycle again. The late spring and early summer suffered high temperatures that advanced the cycle. In late July and August, temperatures eased up and some precipitation ensured the water reserves until the end of the harvest, improving acidity and giving fruitiness to the wine.

2016

Victorino 2016 is an expressive, characterful, and concentrated red wine. This vintage reveals its full opulence on the nose, with aromas of ripe red fruit, refined toasted hints, tobacco, and spices. It offers a majestic palate, intense, sophisticated, and with an enduring finish.

2011

In the mouth, it is a very intense wine. Structured and deep. The notes perceived in the nose appear again: rope black fruit, nail and coffee. At the end, touches of pepper. Abundant tannins of fruit, fine but powerful at the same time. It is a very persistent wine with a long finish.

2009

Powerful, very wide, elegant but mainly full-bodied and fleshy wine. Very fruity and perfectly balanced palate in which one can rediscover the complexity felt in the nose. It has a long, very tasty and very fresh mid palate with an excellent acidity and excellent balsamic aromas. Its lively tannins are very nice. Long and very persistent finish with an aftertaste of mineral and fruity aromas. A great wine that will leave nobody indifferent.
