Casavinoteca is an independent wine merchant. We taste every wine before it enters the catalogue, describe it honestly, and store it properly until it ships. Replace this text with your own story.
Our Story
About Us Canservas
Our unique way of doing things
The Workshop
A cannery workshop with craft and purpose
At Casa Vinoteca, we believe that true luxury lies in respecting time: the time of the sea, the time of each season, and the time of a centuries-old craft perfected with every gesture.
That is why every one of our fish and seafood preserves comes from meticulous selection, recipes rooted in family tradition, and an artisanal process where quality always takes precedence.
The Manifesto
Five convictions
-
01
Galicia as a Marine Terroir
We are part of the PDO Mussel of Galicia, the Pesca de Rías seal, and the PGI Cockle of Noia. Each tin is a tribute to a unique territory and to an impeccable traceability that guarantees authenticity and origin.
-
02
Freshness, a commitment
Every dawn we handpick the finest pieces in the most renowned fish markets of Galicia. Only the freshest raw materials of the highest quality enter our workshop, because excellence begins at the source.
-
03
Tradition with soul
Our legacy lives on in the human team of master canners who continue to use the same artisanal techniques as their ancestors. We honor history to create the gastronomic luxury of today.
-
04
Conserving savoir-faire
Each preserve is the result of expert hands working with precision and care, piece by piece, in a manual process that turns every tin into a unique masterpiece.
-
05
They, the protagonists
Master women of the cannery who make us who we are. Women who, with their experience and dedication over generations, transform fish and seafood into unique products, crafted with the care of those who know that true quality is born from detail.
Our Commitment
Caring for the sea, shaping its future
We live from the sea and advocate for sustainable fishing, based on traditional and low-impact methods. We demand respect for fishing bans and catch limits to protect the marine biodiversity of the Galician Rías.
In addition, we continue to promote our sustainability commitment plan, focused on reducing water consumption, advancing the use of renewable energy, and fostering a circular economy and the use of recyclable materials.
Where tradition meets the sea
We feel a deep passion for our craft, for the people of the sea, for our estuaries, for our environment, and for our tradition. That is why we continue to do things in the traditional way, just as they have been taught to us generation after generation.
